just finished my summer exams, soon going to have a plead with my mum to climb ben nevis before we do the three peeks challenge in july, very close now to kili, £800, i'm soon going to go round my school to collect some money. thank you for still supporting me.

We climbed Cadair Idris in Snowdonia.  There is a big long story before that bit though. Two nights before we were due to climb the mountain, I went to mum and said "Aaahhh Mum i don't feel well!", and was then promptly sick all over the floor, and that night i was sick 4 more times. Needlesss to say she was not impressed. The next day I slept for 18 hours. Then it was Climb Day, I got up all ready to go.... I got up the first 6 steps of the long climb up, stopped, sat down and removed my rucksack as i had no energy.  Mum was very worried s to how I was going to do this and eventually after nearly crawling up for an hour I decided i old face a  a custard tart..... i was ahead and we climbed it! It was incredibly hard, the first 200 metres we climbed up steps then climbed up some steep grassland slopes and we were on our way to the peak,. We finally  after another 2 hours and then climbed e second one peak . Cadir Idris means Giants Armchair so it is a long walk up and then trek from the two peaks acting as armrests! We then proceeded to climb down again, we did this  all in 6 hours! I guarantee it would be a challenge for most professional climbers.

Only 6 months to go and I'm feeling the nerves. I have  set my mind to  do this  and i am getting really motivated. We go back to go to North Wales shortly and I can't wait, hopefully going up a harder route on  Snowdon and doing Cadair Idris uder better physical circumstances. Thank you for visiting.
